ΠΕΡΝΩΝΤΑΣ ΣΕ ΚΑΠΟΙΟ ΤΑΞΙΔΙ ΜΑΣ ΓΙΑ ΒΟΡΕΙΑ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ ΑΛΛΗ ΜΙΑ ΦΟΡΑ Καναμε το σταθμο μας στο ξενοδοχειο LUX .
Η κρατηση εγινε τηλεφωνικα με τους πολυ ευγενικους ιδιοκτητες . Το ξενοδοχειο βρισκετε στα λουτρα υπατης περιπου 100 μετρα και 200 μετρα απο το κεντρο του χωριου . Προσβαση ευκολη και παρκινγκ εξω απο το καταλυμα δωρεαν . Χωρος υποδοχης πολυ ωραιος και στο βαθος σαλονι αιθουσα πρωινου πολυ ζεστος χωρος και με ενεργειακο τζακι που σε ταξιδευει . Δωματια ανετα μεγαλα με προσωπικο μπανιο πολυ καθαρα και πολυ ζεστα .

On our way to METEORA we stopped off en route at the Hotel Lux. The
owner, who welcomed us, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Not only
was a restaurant recommended to us, but he accompanied us there since we didn’t
know the area! The twin room was perfect, very clean and with beautiful cotton
sheets! I am just sorry we couldn’t stay longer to explore the area!

So friendly owners! I felt I was visiting a good friend. The hotel is
very very clean. Breakfast quite good (omelet, local sausage, Greek yogurt,
honey, nuts, and coffee) The price very low. I

φιλοξενία ήταν άψογη! το ζευγάρι των ιδιοκτητών εξυπηρετικότατο. μας έδιναν τη
δυνατότητα να πάρουμε πρωινό ό,τι ώρα μας βόλευε. μείναμε τρία χειμωνιάτικα
βράδυα και βρίσκαμε το δωμάτιο ζεστό με αναμμένο το κλιματιστικό την ώρα που
επιστρέφαμε. ήταν μια ευχάριστη έκπληξη!

“Great value,clean, hospitality owner!”
So, it was early in the morning, about before dawn, and we lost our way with GPS after a night drive and… just call a owner that we get lost, he find us and put us in his hotel.
The room, we were reserved, was air-conditioned, without mosquitos (it was August) and we slept as a children.
So, only minus of this capacity is marks from
Lamia main road to Loutra.
Clean family run hotel, very nice owner.
In the morning when I said to him sorry about inappropriate phone call –
he said “Thats my job!
Come again!” Certanly, we will!

Ritenendo che il tragitto dalle Meteore ad Atene fosse troppo lungo in giornata, abbiamo deciso di fare una sosta intermedia. La nostra scelta e’ ricaduta sull’hotel Lux, situato a circa 15 km da Lamia, in una tranquilla zona termale.
Ci ha accolto il proprietario Lena, davvero squisito e disponibile. ci ha subito preso i bagagli e ci ha accompagnato nella nostra stanza, comoda, pulita e profumata, dove ci attendeva un aperitivo a base di raki ed ottime olive verdi. Ci ha poi consigliato un locale molto carino dove cenare, accompagnandoci a piedi per un tratto di strada e illustrandoci il percorso. La mattina seguente ci ha preparato personalmente un’eccellente colazione a base di buonissime omelettes, salsicce, uova sode, frutta, yogurt greco, miele, marmellata, biscotti, ottimo succo ed ottimo caffe’ filtrato. Consigliamo vivamente questo hotel sia come tappa di passaggio per un tour della Grecia, sia per un soggiorno naturalistico e termale, magari in primavera o estate. Un ringraziamento speciale al caro Lena.

The owner greeted us with encouragement to sit on the porch and relax while he took care of he took care of our luggage. It was just what we needed. His lovely daughter brought us some cold water, then he brought us some ouzo and snacks — including olives from his own grove.
The owner truly went above and beyond for us when he helped us resolve a travel snafu we had made regarding our future travel plans in Greece. He said, “Let me do this for you,” and he did! He called our next hotel, our car rental company, etc. and resovled our problems. Additionally, he printed maps and directions for our next stop.
Our room was clean as were the linens and towels and the air conditioning was wonderful after traveling in the heat!
Though younger than the rest of the crowd, my husband and I even took a bath in the healing waters at the spa. It was a memorable experience and The owner gave us passes that said we didn’t need to have a doctor’s prescription to experience the pool just once.
I highly recommend the Hotel Lux!

Perfect location near Lamia (15km away). Great service, very nice welcome, clean rooms, beautiful seting amongst mountains. Very close to Lamia and easy to reach highway Athens Thessaloniki. Great brekfast at a bargain price.

I have traveled for months and the day I spent here is the best! The family who run this hotel is extremely helpful. The owner is very thoughtful to help me on checking the transportation and everything. The owner’s lovely daughter is pretty and a good company. They even gave me a ride to take me to the restaurant. It makes me feel i am one of their family. I love this hotel and definitely would recommend it to everyone. By the way, the whole village is peaceful and friendly! a wonderful stay there!

The accomodations are just adequet, but the service is superb. The owner anticipated our every need and went out of his way to meet all of them. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. By the time we left, we not only felt well taken care of, but felt that we had made a friend.

Faptul ca este relativ aproape de centrul orasului ;chiar si pe jos se ajunge destul de usor in zonele centrale.
Nu este frigider ! Aerul conditionat nu se poate regla; Cartierul este destul de nesigur (multi alte natii ), pentru ca si ziua usa hotelului este incuiata permanent. Mobila veche cu miros!

здесь на одну ночь 12 ноября. Добирался из Lamia, на автобусе от
автовокзала, за 1,90 евро. Автобус отходит в 14:30 и в 17:30. На
следующей день у меня был поезд в Метеоры, в 11:02, хозяин отеля довез
меня, бесплатно, до станции Lianokladi. Бассейн, с сероводородной водой,
находится в 200-х метрах от отеля. Работает до конца декабря.
Администрация бассейна ещё не знает, но может быть будут работать в
январе и феврале. В марте начинается сезон. Температура воды +33
градуса. Глубина – 1метр. Стоимость посещения 4 евро. В 60 км от отеля
расположен горнолыжный курорт Karpenissi.

I was here for one night on November 12. Reached from Lamia, by bus from
bus station, for 1,90 euros. The bus departs at 14:30 and at 17:30. On
following I had a day the train in Meteors, at 11:02, the owner of hotel
took me, free of charge, to the Lianokladi station. The pool, with
hydrosulphuric water, is in the 200th meters from hotel. Works until the
end of December. The administration of the pool doesnt know yet, but
can be will work in January and February. In March the season begins.
Water temperature is +33 degrees. Depth – 1 meter. The cost of visit is 4
euros.
In 60 km from hotel the Karpenissi ski resort is located.В
воскресенье, нет автобуса из Lamia до Loutra Ipatis. В отеле нет тв
каналов на английском и русском языках.

On Sunday, there is no bus from Lamia to Loutra Ipatis. In hotel there
is no TV of channels in the English and Russian languages.

Owners amazingly friendly, couldn’t do enough to help us. They gave us some free drinks in the fridge and prepared an ouzo and some snacks for us. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely value for money.

I felt very welcome in Lux hotel. We were offered welcome ouza drinks
and got an advice where to have a dinner, which proved to be a very good
place. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in hotels.
There was a nice view on mountains from the window of our room and also
from the canteen.
